This course is for YOU - Doesn't matter if you havent been on a bike in years - doesn't matter if you don't own a bike
We supply everything - you just turn up and get cycling - its a fantastic way to get fit and meet new friends
TUESDAY 16th January | 7pm until 8.30pm | MARLAY PARK
WEDNESDAY 17th January | 7pm until 8.30pm | MALAHIDE CASTLE
This course goes on for 6 weeks. Thats an hour & a half each week on your preferred day. You will learn the rules of the road, you will get your confidence back on the bike & more importantly you will get fit. Cycling is a fantastic way to get out, get some fresh air, meet new people & get fit. We have been running this course for 4 years & the Women all love it. You will love it too so get involved & lets go cycling!!!
This course is for anyone at any level.
All equipment & bikes provided - All you have to do is show up!
Learn new skills - New technique that will improve the way you can
Our internationally accredited trainers will provide you with the expert training required for safe & confident cycling
On completion, you will know how to check your bike is roadworthy; how to control your bike in a variety of situations & have built up your confidence & overall fitness.
Course runs for 6 weeks.

The information night covers lots of valuable information such as – Cycling Ireland, Insurance, Cycling events, Cycling clubs, Buying a bike (types of bike – what you need to know), Bike to Work scheme, Clothing, Nutrition, plus lots more questions answered by your bike experts!
cycles to build confidence - only €6 per person, per cycle.
This cycle is lead by professional cycle instructors to safely build confidence on the roads - this cycle is limited to 20 for safety reasons.
The course covers a variety of aspects including:
You will learn how to ensure your bike is roadworthy & how to keep it in good condition
•Bike control & Safety
We will cover all the basics of bike handing to enable you to better control your bike - this will include the proper use of gears and brakes. You will receive essential training throughout the course to develop your road cycling confidence when interacting with other road users.
Giving invaluable advice on eating the correct food to get the best results, plus advice on how to choose the best clothes for comfort while cycling
•Social Cycles (optional)
Organised social cycles, every second Saturday morning at 9am. These are optional, only €6 per person, per cycle - a great way to further build on your skills & fitness levels. We will be starting off with short group spins & we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider – nobody will be left behind! We aim to have everyone riding up to 50km by the end of the programme – what an achievement!
